Placing An Order

Complete Your Order

  1. Find Your Vehicle — check out the Explore Vehicles page to find your vehicle.
  2. Add to Cart — click on ‘Tune My Car’ or scroll to the bottom of the page to complete the vehicle details and select any extra options.
  3. Checkout — review your cart and proceed to checkout. Fill out your details and purchase your ECU remap.
  4. Next Steps — read the next steps for the service you selected.

Send-In

  1. Remove ECU
    Once you place your order, remove the ECU from your vehicle.
    Not sure how to remove an ECU? Find the guide for your vehicle on our knowledge base.
  2. Mail It In
    Package up your ECU in a satchel or postage box with bubble wrap or some kind of padding for extra protection.
    Include the following details on your package to avoid any delays with processing your order:
    • Our Address: Border Tuning, Shed 1/25 Stockwell Road, Jindera NSW 2642, Australia
    • Order Number (ex: #12345)
    • Your Name
    • Contact Number

Remove Brackets from ECU
Please unscrew the metal mounting bracket from your ECU to avoid damage to packaging or additional shipping costs.

Held at Post Office
If your ECU is delivered via Australia Post it will be delivered to the Jindera LPO. Our team collects deliveries daily from Monday – Friday during business hours.

Outright

No further steps are needed. We'll remap an ECU to suit your vehicle and mail it to you straight away.

Exchange

  1. Swap ECU
    Once your remapped exchange ECU arrives, swap it with the stock ECU in your vehicle and check that everything is working as it should.

  2. Mail It In
    Package up your stock ECU in the provided prepaid satchel with bubble wrap. We'll include all the details on the satchel so it can be matched with your order once we receive it.

Loaner

  1. Fit Loaner
    Once the loaner ECU arrives, swap it with the ECU from your vehicle and check that there's no issue with operating your vehicle.

  2. Mail It In
    Package up your ECU in the provided prepaid satchel with bubble wrap, then mail it in to us. We'll include all the details on the satchel so it can be matched with your order once we receive it.
  3. Swap ECUs
    After you receive your ECU back from us, re-install it and check that everything is working as it should. Package up the loaner ECU in the provided prepaid satchel with the provided bubble wrap and return it to us.
